A pedestrian was transported to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Rangiora.
The incident took place at the intersection of Queen and Ivory Sts about 3.15pm on Wednesday.
“One person received serious injuries,” a police spokesperson said.
Ivory St was closed between Queen St and High St but was reopened just before 6pm yesterday.
