One dead after crash on Lewis Pass

    One person has died following a crash on the Lewis Pass (State Highway 7) late last night.

    Police said they were notified of the single-vehicle crash about 9.50pm.

    "Despite efforts from emergency services, the person died at the scene."

    The Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination overnight.
