Three people have been injured in a crash on State Highway 1 in Rakaia.
Police said all three sustained moderate injuries in the two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bridge St (SH1) and Elizabeth Ave just before 10.30am on Monday.
Diversions are in place but motorists have been warned to avoid the area and expect significant traffic delays while the scene is being cleared.
