Car ends up in Hagley Park after collision

A car ended up in Hagley Park on Thursday afternoon after a collision at a Christchurch intersection.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hagley Ave and St Asaph St about 1.35pm.

Said an eye witness: "There were car parts everywhere."

"The car was nearly 50m or 100m in the park. It hit a tree on the way in then bounced back off into the park."

A St John spokesman said an ambulance attended the crash and treated one patient for minor injuries at the scene.
