Easter church services

Among the Dunedin churches marking Easter with special services are Holy Name Catholic Church, in Great King St, and Knox Presbyterian Church, George St.

At Knox Church on Palm Sunday, at 7pm, there will be a service incorporating Lenten carols.

Knox will hold a Maundy Thursday communion at 7pm and a Good Friday service at 10am.

Organised by the Catholic-Presbyterian Dialogue, there will a special interdenominational Easter Vigil on Good Friday at 7pm at Holy Name.

On Easter Day, March 31, at 8am there will be a short service in the garden beside Knox Church and a 10am communion service in the church celebrating Christ’s resurrection.
