A person has died after suffering a medical event on a boat in Queenstown this afternoon.
Police were called at 5.10pm following reports of a person being taken to shore in Frankton after becoming unwell on a boat, a police spokeswoman said.
The person was treated there but died at the scene, she said.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
