One person has been critically hurt after a car and motorcycle collided in Invercargill.
Police said they were notified of the crash in Centre St, in the suburb of Rockdale, about 2.50am today.
"One person received critical injuries and was taken to hospital."
The Serious Crash Unit were advised and examined the scene, closing the road for a time.
It reopened about 7.30am.
