A truck and trailer, thought to be carrying hazardous materials, has caught fire on the Lindis Pass this evening.
Fire and police are currently attending the scene and the Lindis Pass road is expected to be closed until a clean up effort has taken place.Nobody is thought to have been injured in the fire, a police spokeswoman said.
The contents of the truck are as yet unknown but are thought to be either LPG bottles or kerosene.
It is not yet known what caused the truck and trailer to catch fire.
