All hands on board for Poppy Day

Air Training Corps (ATC) cadets Larnie Davidson, 17, and Lachlan Wilkinson, 16, were out collecting donations for Poppy Day in Oamaru yesterday.

Six of the "26 Squadron" ATC cadets were in Thames St from 9am, to help support Poppy Day.

A mixed day weather-wise did not deter people from buying the poppies around various sites in Invercargill yesterday.

Verdon College pupils Olivia McCabe (left) and Caitlin Kelly, both of Invercargill, were collecting for Awarua RSA on Poppy Day in South City, Invercargill.
