Police have released the name of the man killed in a crash in the Christchurch suburb of Aranui on Sunday night.
He was 34-year-old Karl Paul Osborne, of Christchurch.
Police were called to the scene of the single-vehicle crash on Hampshire St at 9.46pm.
Mr Osborne died at the scene.
A police investigation remains ongoing.
