King's High School year 13 pupil Thomas Newton's painting Animals: Prey and Predators is an acrylic and Indian-ink image of the food chain.

The tiger is the most important aspect of the painting because it is the predator - the top of the food chain.

There are also ink silhouettes of predators and their prey throughout the image to reinforce the structure of the painting, and it establishes the idea between predator and prey and how the life cycle and food chain work.
