Returning board members fare well, two lose seats

Only two incumbents missed out on re-election to Dunedin community boards.

Dean McAlwee, Brian Miller and Brian Peat were re-elected to the Mosgiel-Taieri board, alongside newcomers Andrew Simms and Kathryn Anderson.

Martin Dillon lost his seat in Mosgiel-Taieri.

On the Saddle Hill Community Board, returnees Scott Weatherall, John Moyle, Keith McFadyen, Christina McBratney and Paul Weir are joined by newcomer, retired medical practitioner Pim Allen.

Mandy Mayhem-Bullock has left the Waikouaiti Coast Community Board for the city council, with unsuccessful council candidate Chris McBride taking her place.

Mr McBride is joined by incumbents Mark Brown, Alasdair Morrison, Andy Barratt, Sonya Billyard and Geraldine Tait.

Jacque Ruston missed out on re-election to the West Harbour Community Board.

She is succeeded by returnees Duncan Eddy and Ange McEarlane, along with new members Wayne Sefton, Kristina Goldsmith, Barbara Anderson and Jarrod Hodson.

Otago Peninsula Community Board saw the return of five members - Paul Pope, Lox Kellas, Hoani Langsbury, and Edna Stevenson. They are joined by newcomer Stacey Kokaua-Balfour.

Only three previous members returned to the Strath Taieri Community Board - David Frew, Robin Thomas and Barry Williams. They are joined by Anna Wilson, Tony Markham and Terina Geddes.
