A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near Mosgiel this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said officers responded to reports of a person being hit by a car in Puddle Alley about 1.45pm.
A St John spokesman said the person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with moderate injuries.
Police inquiries are ongoing.
