One person was seriously injured in a two-car crash at Kuri Bush, near Taieri Mouth, tonight.
Police were called to the crash site 3.3km south of Brighton at 8.15pm.
One of the vehicles was overturned and one person trapped.
The person was freed and taken to Dunedin Hospital with status two injuries, and the road opened to one lane about 8.50pm.
