Going a little wild for wildlife

Former You and Me host Suzy Cato has fun with Addison Gittoes, 4, at Tūhura Otago Museum yesterday before showing her and other children what the Wildlife Hospital does.

Wildlife Hospital Trust manager Jordana Whyte said Cato sang a song about herself as a young person when she was playing doctor and she was fixing up her soft toys.

 

Ms Whyte said it was about drawing comparisons between humans and animals seeing a doctor to help demystify it for children.

 

Addison was very excited to meet Cato and was determined to become a vet when she grew up.
