Two flights between Nelson and Auckland have been added to the ever-growing list of locations of interest connected to at least one person with Omicron.

Air New Zealand flight NZ5084 from Nelson to Auckland at 5.50pm on January 18 and flight NZ8087 from Auckland to Nelson at 8.10pm on January 23 have now been added to the Ministry of Health's official list.

Anyone who travelled on either flight is now considered to be a close contact and must self isolate and get tested for Covid immediately. They must get tested again on day five after being exposed.

Earlier on Friday, two new locations of interest were also added in Christchurch following the announcement of four new cases in the city yesterday.

Anyone at the Ferry Rd Pharmacy in Waltham on Monday, January 24, from 3.30pm-4pm, or Thursday, January 27, from 8.45am-8.55am, should self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days and get a test.

Christchurch Airport was also added to the list of locations of interest last night. Anyone at the airport on Monday, January 24, between 9.10am and 9.40am or 5pm to 5.30pm, should self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms and, if symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home.
