Emergency services were called to the Turners Trucks and Machinery Christchurch yard on Lunns Rd, Middleton about 11.30pm, said Fire and Emergency New Zealand shift manager Andrew Norris.
All of the vehicles were "fully involved" when fire crews from Wigram, Spreydon and Harewood arrived at the scene, he said.
Firefighters spent about two and a half hours fighting the fires.
Police were at the scene on Monday night and were returning in the morning to determine the cause of the fires, said Mr Norris.
