The death of a female whose body was found in a Christchurch creek on Sunday is not being treated as suspicious, police say.
Emergency Services were called after the body was discovered near Sisson Drive in Northcote about 3pm.
"The death of a female whose body was discovered in a creek near Sissons Drive in Northcote, Christchurch, yesterday afternoon is not considered suspicious," a police spokesperson said.
Police earlier treated the death as unexplained.
"It will be referred to the Coroner."
