Artem Sitak and Luci Barlow took out the Auckland tennis championships this afternoon in Auckland.
Top seed Sitak faced fourth seed Dan King-Turner in the men's final and triumphed 3-6 7-5 6-3. The Davis Cup player, vying for a spot at the Heineken Open as the country's top-ranked player, had earlier beaten fourth seed Anton Bettink 6-3 6-3 in the semifinals.
Barlow got past top seed Kairangi Vano 6-3 7-6 (2) in the semifinal and then beat Sarah McDermott 6-2 7-5 in the final.
