Rugby: Highlander for a day will have sideline seat

Ever fancied finding out what goes on inside a Highlanders team meeting?

Or watching the game from right beside the touchline?One lucky child will get the chance to find out, with the Highlander for a Day promotion.

The winner of the competition will get a meal with the team before the match, and also attend a team meeting.

He or she will attend the game, stand on the field to watch the warm-up, and hand the match ball to the captain as he leaves the changing room.

During the game, the Highlander for a day will get to sit on the sideline beside the reserves, and have a snack in the manager's box at half-time.

The competition is open to anyone under 12 and will be staged at all home games in Dunedin, Invercargill and Palmerston North.
