Blues chief executive Andy Dalton has refused to comment on the latest racist abuse allegedly targeted at coach Pat Lam, saying "it's just another external distraction the team doesn't need''.
Lam, who broke down several weeks ago when talking about how racial abuse was affecting him and his family, reportedly received a text message about Pacific Island players in his backline.
The abusive text message was revealed in the Truth newspaper this week, with Lam saying this morning before team training that he didn't want to talk about it.
