Patearoa Collie Club centennial trial results

Maniototo shepherd Maddi Palmer and her dog Spade won the local maiden in the long head at the Patearoa Collie Club centennial trial. She works on sheep and beef farm The Beeches, which was home to three of the courses — the long head, short head and yard and straight hunt. PHOTO: SHAWN MCAVINUE
