Two Oamaru men have been arrested after a Nissan Mistral was allegedly set alight in Wairere Dell early on Sunday morning.
A 25-year-old man will appear in the Dunedin District Court today charged with arson, theft from a motor vehicle and disorderly behaviour relating to a separate incident earlier in the evening.
A 23-year-old man was remanded in custody to appear in the Oamaru District Court on Thursday on charges of arson and theft from a motor vehicle.
He also faces further charges of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified and drink-driving.
