A man has been charged over the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in southwest Sydney.
The boy became involved in a fight with a number of people in Derby Street, Minto, and was stabbed six times by a 23-year-old man on the evening of October 20.
The boy was driven to a nearby service station in Pembroke Road, where police and ambulance officers were contacted.
Police established a crime scene, while ambulance officers treated him for a number of stab wounds.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he received treatment for stab wounds to the chest, shoulder blades and back.
His injuries included a collapsed lung and punctured kidney.
The 23-year-old man was arrested on Friday morning and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on November 23.
