The Arrowtown Bachelor and Bachelorette Ball was held at the Athenaeum Hall on Saturday night for its second year running.

Like last year, the event was popular, over 100 guests showing up in their finest attire, some coming from as far afield as Auckland and New Plymouth.

Organiser Bridget Paape said the night was a huge success, and some numbers were "exchanged at the end of the night".

She hoped the Arrowtown community would get behind the event and take over the reins next year as the event was "getting too big for two people to run".

The Queenstown Times went along to get some snaps of the evening.
