Wakatipu Trails Trust chief executive Kaye Parker said she was keen to hear from any beginner or intermediate cyclists who would be prepared to "check" the trail as construction progresses.
Every part of the trail needed to be checked to ascertain if more work was required - and who better to check it than the future users?
