Repco is recalling two- and three-ton Mechpro axle stands sold between December and March because of safety concerns.
The two-ton axle stands (part number MP2TAS) were included in an eight-piece auto shop pack. They passed safety requirements, but some could be unsafe to use because of variations in production, Repco said.
The three-ton stands (part number MP3TAS) were being recalled as a precaution because they were made in the same factory.
Customers were advised to return the stands to Repco stores for a replacement or full refund. Customers with questions can call 0800 645 654.
