A 63-year-old man died after a two-car crash in suburban Auckland this morning.
Police said an SUV crossed the centre line on a road in Henderson and hit a southbound vehicle about 10.20am.
Emergency services performed CPR on the driver of the SUV but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was treated for minor to moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.
Early investigations suggest that a medical event led to the SUV crossing the centre line.
The police serious crash unit is investigating.
