A pedestrian has been hit by a bus and seriously injured on Auckland's busy Dominion Rd.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to Auckland Hospital.
Diversions were in place at the intersection of Balmoral Rd and Dexter Ave in Balmoral.
Traffic delays were likely and motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible.
The police serious crash and commercial vehicle investigation units were investigating.
