A Swedish woman died this morning after swimming with dolphins near Kaikoura this morning.
Constable Dean Schroeder told the Marlborough Express the middle-aged Swedish woman got into trouble while swimming on a Dolphin Encounter trip and died later in hospital.
She was travelling with four other Swedes.
