They probably did not need a roof on the nicest day of the junior club rugby season so far, on Saturday, but playing at Forsyth Barr Stadium was still ''awesome'' and ''way better'' than being outside, Dunedin's junior players reckoned.

The use of the stadium for the day was offered to the Otago Rugby Football Union as part of Dunedin Venues' community sport programme.

Otago Daily Times photographer PeterMcIntosh called at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday to capture some of the under-11 and under-13 action at the venue.
