The mother of a 22-month-old girl who died at her Dunedin home last week was in court again this morning on a charge of murdering the toddler.
The 26-year-old woman is charged with murdering the child on May 26.
She has been allowed to remain on bail at a North Island address until her next court appearance on 22 July.
Judge Paul Kellar also granted continued name suppression which Crown counsel Robin Bates did not oppose.
Defence counsel Alastair Logan said suppression was requested because the woman was still undergoing psychiatric assessment.
