A pilot has escaped serious injury in a light plane crash at Dunedin Airport today.
The Cessna crashed about 12.15pm.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown said the pilot walked out of the plane and would be assessed by St John ambulance staff.
The pilot is understood to have been the plane's sole occupant.
Sgt Brown had no further details about the crash.
