Ms Vieira, who has lived in Dunedin since 2008 when she moved here from Ecuador to complete a masters in design studies, imports handicrafts, including alpaca blankets, knitwear and jewellery, from free trade communities in the Andes and along the coast of Ecuador, selling them online and through shows such as the women's expos.
Co-organiser Christine Woodhouse, of Palmerston North, said about 120 exhibitors had booked in for the two-day weekend expo with some coming from as far afield as Bulls.
A range of jewellery, beauty, fitness and business products would be on display, along with crafts, food and wine sampling, handicrafts and fashion.
