The ringing of an intruder's phone woke the occupant of a Northeast Valley house early yesterday.
Sergeant Dave Scott, of Dunedin, said the occupant of a North Rd address heard a phone "go off'' about 1.40am and got out of bed to investigate.
A 19-year-old Dunedin man would appear in the Dunedin District Court, Sgt Scott said.
