Rachel Hunter smiles for her fans as she enters the Regent Theatre, in Dunedin, to tape New Zealand's Got Talent yesterday.
The chance to take part in the New Zealand's Got Talent drew hundreds of people to queue in the Octagon, despite wintry weather yesterday.

Some had their photographs taken with the show's judges and host Tamati Coffey as they arrived at the Regent.

The judges are Rachel Hunter, Jason Kerrison and panel newcomer Los Angeles choreographer and dancer Cris Judd, formerly the husband of Jennifer Lopez.

The Talent team is in Dunedin for two days to tape five heats of the show at the Regent Theatre.

Performing during the two days are 30 acts from Christchurch, 25 from Dunedin, five from Invercargill, five from Timaru and nine from Greymouth, chosen from auditions earlier this year.

The judges and crew will afterwards head to Auckland and Wellington to tape the remaining heats.

The show will be screened later this year.
