Dunedin voluntary euthanasia groups are in need of resuscitation after only three people turned up to a recent meeting, a Dunedin woman says.
Dunedin Exit International convener Paula Westoby co-ordinated a meeting at the Dunedin Public Library last Sunday, aimed at raising awareness of the upcoming trial of Prof Sean Davison, who has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly euthanasing his mother.
Ms Westoby was disappointed at the turnout.
She said more meetings were planned, and she hoped the response to those would be better.
