A Dunedin property formerly owned by convicted fraudster Michael Swann has gone on the market, days after a High Court decision ordering forfeiture of at least $2.5 million of seized goods belonging to Swann family trusts.
The seven-bedroom, two-bathroom Ferntree Lodge in Wakari has been listed on the real estate market as "an enormous opportunity for those wanting to either develop a grand home or establish boutique accommodation".
The Dunedin City Council website lists the property's ratetable value at $1.55 million.
