A teenager has been charged over an armed robbery in a western Sydney street.
The 17-year-old was one of four youths who allegedly held up two men with a gun outside a real estate agency in Strathfield on Friday afternoon.
The youths allegedly threatened the two men with the gun before making off with a wallet and a bag containing cash and cheques.
An employee inside the real estate office heard a scream and chased the four males into a nearby laneway, where one of the four tripped and fell and was held down by the employee and onlookers.
The teen, from Lakemba, was charged with robbery whilst armed with offensive weapon and assault with intent to rob armed with offensive weapon.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Saturday.
