A rampant Pirates scored 10 tries in beating Alhambra-Union in the play-off for third and fourth in the Dunedin premier rugby competition.
Pirates midfield backs Isaac Beach and Marshall Suckling kept pressure on the Alhambra-Union defence with their fast running.
Luke Reihana at second five-eighth was the best Alhambra-Union player.
He scored three tries and 22 points to reach 100 points for the season.

Speedy utility back Tane Puki played a key role as Zingari-Richmond beat Lawrence in the countrywide final at Montecillo.
Zingari also had a solid forward unit and dominated the set-pieces, while Bent Kent and Kurt Schrader were dangerous in the midfield.
The best Lawrence players were inside backs James Kenny and Sam Young, and the backline looked dangerous when it moved the ball late in the game.

Lock Steve Green and fullback Mike Kerr had impressive games as Taieri scored seven tries to beat Kaikorai at Peter Johnstone Park.
Former league stars Ryan Shortland and Michael Witt also made significant contributions to Taieri's win.
Witt kicked five goals and scored 12 points.
