No-one seems to be able to stop John McGlashan College in the Otago premier schools grade.
The side has rolled through the first round unbeaten and was much too good for Waitaki Boys' High School on Saturday in Dunedin.
The College team won 52-5 in the first game of the second round where the top six teams have been split into two pools.
McGlashan was strong and powerful in the forwards and then flanked the Oamaru school out wide as it went into overdrive.
It was the side's third game in eight days after playing and defeating St Andrew's College in Christchurch last Monday.
But there was no sign of any tired bodies as McGlashan scored seven tries in all.
Waitaki tried hard but it was outgunned and could not get much going on attack.
Despite its loss, the Waitaki Boys' team hangs on to second place and both of the top two have secured semifinal positions.
In other games in the top six, Otago Boys' High School Second XV beat Dunstan High School 24-13 in Dunedin to solidify itself in third spot, while King's High School overtook South Otago High School to go fourth with a 31-5 win.
King's played one of its better games of the season and showed plenty of dash in attack on its home ground.
In the bottom six, St Kevin's College beat Kavanagh College 52-22 in Oamaru, Otago Boys' High School Third XV beat South Otago High School Second XV 57-5 at Bathgate Park, and the visiting Mount Aspiring College beat Taieri College 20-5.
