Dunn, Dalgety to continue run

Leading reinsman Dexter Dunn and his employer, Cran Dalgety, are poised for a successful innings at the Forbury Park meeting tonight.

The duo have Band On The Run, Angela's Dream, The Gun, Fiji Babee, Living Proof and One Cool Dude top prospects.

Band On The Run (race 2) has won his last two starts. Angela's Dream (race 5) has won five races this season. She won twice at Forbury Park last season.

The Gun (race 6) won at Forbury Park on May 7 when having his first start. Fiji Babee (race 7), who has not raced since January 5, won a trial at Rangiora last week.

Living Proof (race 8) won at Addington last Friday. One Cool Dude (race 9) was having his first race for six months when he finished seventh at Forbury Park on May 7.

Dunn has driven 156 winners this season.

Dunn and Dalgety teamed to win four races, including the $200,000 Sires' Stakes Final with Smiling Shard, at Addington, last Friday.

The 2yr-old filly Yankee Dream ran a faster time than the colts and geldings when she won her mile heat in 2.01.5 at the Ashburton trials yesterday.

Yankee Dream won by half a head from Lancome, with three lengths to Casarina.

The trio are down to clash in the Harness Jewels at Ashburton on Saturday week.

Yankee Dream is a $3.40 second favourite behind Flying Pocketlands.

Yankee Dream ran her last 800m in 57.8 yesterday.

Auckland Reactor, a $1.30 favourite for the HJ, won his heat in 3.02.5 for 2400m (mobile), the last 800m in 57.

Jumanji Franco, a contender for the 3yr-old trotter section of the jewels, won her heat yesterday.

One For His Nob, now trained by Phil Burrows, won in 3.20.5 for a standing start.

The winner of two races when trained by Jim Curtin, One For His Nob has not raced since February 24.

The Cavalier has been withdrawn from the HJ, allowing Flyin Interstate to enter the field for the 4yr-old entires and geldings section.

Kimberley Boy won his first race for close on two and a half years when successful at Gore yesterday.

Kimberley Boy was having his 41st start since his previous win at Wingatui in December 2006.

He has been placed 17 times, including 10 seconds, during that time.

The 6yr-old, owned by John and Evelyn Carran, of Otautau, and trained by Michael Pitman, was having his 15th start for the season.

He joined the Pitman stable this season after winning four races, the first as a 2yr-old at Oamaru in July, 2005 when trained by Ben and Sally Gordon.

Kimberley Boy was having his 61st start yesterday.
