That's when the triumphant Otago netball team will be returning with the silverware after beating Waikato 59-57 in a thrilling final in Tauranga yesterday.
It has been 14 years since Otago won the title and the team was planning to celebrate its success long into the night.
Coach Deb Tasi-Cordtz was elated with her charges.
"It is everything we worked for and it was just amazing." Waikato stormed back from a seven-goal deficit midway through the last period.
"We got a bit tentative at the end and the clock couldn't go fast enough. They were really hungry but the girls held it together and showed some composure," Tasi-Cordtz said.
"The girls were aware it had been 14 years since we've won it but I didn't push that. It was all kind of about us and it being our time."
Earlier in the tournament, it appeared Otago might miss out on a semifinal berth, but the team rallied, winning four games in a row to claim its prize.
There were double celebrations for shooter Te Paea Selby-Rickit, wing defence Stacey Peeters and defenders Storm Purvis and Zoe Walker - they were named in the 16-strong New Zealand under-21 squad which will be cut to 12 for the World Youth Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, in August next year.
