Popular Australian veteran Craig Parry has been one of the big movers on the third day of the New Zealand Open in Arrowtown.
Parry has just scored an eagle three on the par-five 13th hole to move to eight-under-par for the tournament.
He is just two shots behind co-leaders Jeff Gove and Jason Norris, both of whom tee off at 1.50pm.
Fellow Australian Terry Pilkadaris has also found good form. He has nearly finished his round and is six-under for the day, seven-under for the tournament.
New Zealander Michael Long has birdied his last two holes to move to four-under, six shots off the pace.
Early starters Richard Johnson (Wales) and Brian Stuard (United States) set the early pace.
Johnson birdied four of his first six holes to move to six-under, and Stuard eagled his first hole and had three more birdies.
After a week of rough weather, the gods are smiling on The Hills. It is hot and sunny and crowds are pouring through the gate.
