The Breakers overcame the Tasmania JackJumpers 94-88 at Spark Arena in Auckland last night.
A big second quarter, in which the home side outscored the visitors 33-19, was key to the win, with the JackJumpers unable to make up the difference despite winning the third and fourth quarters.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright led the charge for the Breakers, with 25 points, four assists and two rebounds.
The Breakers now play the Hawks in Wollongong tomorrow.
