Miss Tweed, who is in her mid 20s, comes from Waitahuna where her father Roger is also a successful trialist. She has been working in North Canterbury.
She and Grit won both the North Island and New Zealand championship straight hunt at the New Zealand championships in Ohaeawai, Northland this week, with a total of 192.50 points.
She started dog trialling when she was at school and once described Grit as a ``once in a lifetime dog''.
