A woman was assaulted and held at knifepoint during a home invasion in Invercargill.
Detective Sergeant Stu Harvey, of Invercargill, said the woman was confronted by two men at the doorway of her Isabella St home early yesterday morning and pushed to the ground.
The attack happened about 2am, when the woman was getting home from work.
The men stole property from the house and held a knife to the woman during the incident, and assaulted her before leaving.
Both men were wearing dark clothing, and are described as being about 180cm tall and of solid build.
