A 21-year-old woman was "lucky" to escape with only minor injuries after she flipped her car near Milton this morning.
A police spokeswoman said the car flipped on Back Rd near Otago Corrections Facility about 10.20am.
The woman was trapped in her car, but walked away with only minor injuries after firefighters took the car's door off and cut her seatbelt.
She was treated at the scene by St John ambulance.
Senior Constable Murray Hewitson said the woman was "lucky" to walk away from the crash relatively unscathed.
