Rays of sunshine from giving

As a result of the joint initiative between Rotary Queenstown and Ray White Realty, hundreds of people left gifts for children and adults under Christmas trees in Queenstown, Frankton and Arrowtown.

Ray White Queenstown marketing co-ordinator Nina Jensen said she was ''really pleased'' with the level of support.

''We've had a good response from members of the public ... it's been great.''

The gift drive was likely to become an annual event.
