Quickfall to chair DQ

Totally Tourism managing director Mark Quickfall has been appointed chairman of Destination Queenstown.

Mr Quickfall was co-opted on to the DQ board and elected chairman at the first meeting of the newly elected board on Thursday night.

He acted as DQ's chairman from 1999 to 2000.

The Destination Queenstown Board for 2009-10 is: Mark Quickfall chairman, co-opted, Lynne McVicar and Erna Spijkerbosch (accommodation), Stephen McLean and David Kennedy (major corporate), Mark Simpson (non-corporate), Russell Gray (retail, service, professional) and Duncan Field (Queenstown Lakes District Council representative).
